People (who) create madness
(In celebration of the International womens day) Never is a man so off the track as when trying to trace his own stepped steps or, God forbid, trying to find a pattern in the thinking of women. Are there really differences in the thinking patterns of men and women? And if there are no differences – would it matter as the interpretations of each other would still be the same, or would it?
It wouldn’t be a lie to state that even the old man Jesus had his share of deep meditation on how the minds of women work – after all he spent 40 days alone in the desert. And even when the biblical story is read by feminist critics the picture of Mary Magdalene is, although 2000 years old and written by a man, almost bit idolizing in the descriptions of the woman who was among the desciples. I beleive the Saviour acctually even spent a bit of time discussing the matter with St. Pete, St. Paul and the others in his company.
The role of women in todays society is different from the one of yesterday. Women are today to be trated as equals and still we know that we ae far away from equality. Still in basic means I guess the biggest questions are and will always be unanswered. As the mystery of wether or not the size matters – or the one about why things which might seem selfevident to a lad will piss off a girl.
Sigmund Freud once said:”Despite my thirty years of research into the feminine soul, I have not been able to answer… the great question that has never been answered: what does a woman want?” My hope lies in future scientists maybe being able to answer that one question, since Dr. Freud’s answered questionnaires have been taken for truth for over a decade.
